Monique

A quiet hybrid Galápagos catamaran with eight Golden Staterooms.

The Monique carries 16 guests in eight Golden Double Staterooms — four on the main deck and four on the upper deck — each with a king bed or two twins, a private bathroom and large picture windows. One further single stateroom is kept for odd-numbered groups and families; solo travellers take a Golden Stateroom for sole use with a 50% single supplement.

It runs on hybrid engines with solar panels and lithium batteries, so it is noticeably quieter at anchor than most ships of its generation. There is a forward observation platform, a panoramic lounge, a shaded terrace and, on the sky deck, an outdoor lounge, al-fresco dining, a bar and a whirlpool.

Service is close to one crew member per guest, with a Cruise Service Officer assigned to each cabin. Naturalist-guided landings run in groups of eight, with snorkelling equipment, wetsuits and kayaks included. Itineraries run three, four and seven nights.
